Guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs are welcome to visit and enjoy the museum.
Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre also has outdoor toilets for assistance dogs. For more information, please see ” Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Barrier-Free Information .”

We offer free loans of portable subtitling devices for theater performances, allowing you to view information such as lines and sound effects during the show. (Japanese only)
In addition, a sign language interpreter will be present at the reception, creating an environment where people can visit alone with peace of mind.

The audio guide will provide you with a live explanation of the stage and characters before the show begins, as well as details of the actors’ movements and scene changes during the show.
We will lend you a receiver free of charge so that you can listen to the explanation with headphones.(Japanese only)
Earphones will also be provided to those accompanying you, so please enjoy the show together.

For Tokyo Festival 2024 , we will be running tours aimed at visitors from overseas and native speakers of English, Korean, Chinese, etc.
For the following tours held in conjunction with ” Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Autumn Selection : Kinoshita-Kabuki – “Sannin Kichisa Kuruwa no Hatsugai”,” portable subtitling devices will be available to borrow free of charge for guests who wish to watch the show in English.

We will be offering the following discounts so that more customers can enjoy performing arts.

• 10% discount for people with disabilities (cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts)

★Childcare workshop : Tokyo Festival 2024Children’s Play Theater
(For children aged 4 to elementary school age / Paid, limited capacity / Childcare to support children’s art experiences)

The childcare center looks after the children of guests attending performances in the various halls of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre(performance childcare), as well as the children of performance organizers and guests belonging to groups using the galleries, ateliers, meeting rooms, and rehearsal rooms of the venue (facility childcare).

Storage fee: 2,200 yen (tax included) per section *If you wish to store your luggage between two time periods, such as 11:00 am-3:00 pm or 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm, you will be charged the fee for two sections.

• Location: Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Atelier West
• Target age: 4 years old to 6th grade
• Capacity: 15 people per session
• Price: 500 yen (per 2 hours, can be extended (insurance included))
• What to bring: Drinks, snacks, a change of clothes/diapers if necessary, and comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
• Period: September 20th (Friday) to September 28th (Saturday)

  ☆Applications begin on August 1st. *Accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. *Applications for September 20th (Friday), 25th (Wednesday), 26th (Thursday), and 27th (Friday) must be made at least 4 days prior to use.

  ☆Even if you are not attending the Tokyo Festival 2024 performances, you can also use our childcare services for your own art activities (watching movies, exhibitions, lessons, etc.) on the three days of September 21st (Sat.), 22nd (Sun.), and 28th (Sat.), if there is availability.
  ☆Of course, you can also use the Tokyo Festival programs other than the applicable performances!
