Involving everyone who gathers at GLOBAL RING THEATRE and those who are relaxing there, we all move together and make noise together. A wave of dance is coming! A dance performance for everyone to enjoy.
Dance company CONDORS, which has given a range of performances in Ikebukuro involving the local community, takes to the stage at GLOBAL RING THEATRE after a long absence. The venue will be filled with tables, chairs, and food trucks to create a relaxing space for people to enjoy their time off. Come experience Condor’s concentrated brand of entertainment in an exciting and festive atmosphere.

Ryohei Kondo
Founder of CONDORS/Choreographer and Dancer
Kondo was raised in Peru, Chile and Argentina. Recipient of the 67th Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Art Encouragement Prize, The Terayama Shuji Prize of the 4th Asahi Performing Arts Award, and the 67th Yokohama Culture Award.
Kondo has appeared on TBS's “Jonetsu Tairiku” and NHK General TV's “Chikyu Ichiban.” He has also provided choreography for “Kondo-san's Exercise” on NHK Educational TV's “Karada de Asobo” and the“TV Salaryman Exercise”segment on NHK General TV's “Salaryman NEO.” Kondo also choreographed the opening theme for the NHK drama series “Teppan.” He has provided dance instruction for the NHK historical drama “Idaten” and choreographed for the female idol group “Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku” among many other films, TV shows, promotional videos, and commercials.
CONDORS
Dance group CONDORS have been invited to perform in over 30 countries around the world and praised by The New York Times. The group’s show at the NHK Hall was a same-day sell-out attracting a packed house and triggering extra dates. The all-male CONDORS is one of Japan’s leading dance groups. Led by Kondo Ryohei, its varied projects have included performing in school uniforms, live music, puppetry, performance, videos and comedy sketches. The group has choreographed for and performed in many movies, TV shows, music videos and commercials. In recent years, CONDORS has also focused on performing arts activities for people with disabilities, the elderly and children, tackling the challenge of making an inclusive society a reality.
