Artists and young people engage in dialogue through their artwork.

The Student Talk Salon, which was well received at Tokyo Festival 2023, is back with an improved version!
"First Line," a youth program aimed at people in their teens and twenties who are interested in arts management, will hold a "School Talk Salon" as a public program, where participants will have the opportunity to interact with participating artists.

After viewing the works to be performed at Tokyo Festival 2024 in advance and sharing their impressions with other participants, artists involved in the creation of the works will be invited to engage in dialogue with young people about the content of the works and the creators' thoughts.

Details and how to participate will be released at a later date.

Tokyo Festival Farm School x Yurakucho Art Urbanism YAU "First Line"

“First Line” is a series of programs for young people that allows them to meet and interact with artists, arts managers and peers in performing arts settings.
In 2024, the event will be held in collaboration with Farm School, an educational initiative within the Tokyo Festival 2024, a comprehensive urban arts festival centered on the Ikebukuro area, and Yurakucho Art Urbanism YAU, a pilot program to create an innovative driving force for the city together with art.
The program offers participants the opportunity to interact with a wide range of artists and art managers, and to see creative sites and works, giving them the chance to come into contact with the various professionals who gather at the Tokyo Festival and YAU. By experiencing the program with fellow participants during the irreplaceable period of their teens and twenties, participants will have the opportunity to embark on their own unique first career.
