How Can We Be Engaged in Performing Arts Now?
Continuing, stopping, quitting: How young people involved in performing arts are reacting to the coronavirus crisis
With the spread of coronavirus, it has become difficult for people to gather in theaters or rehearsal spaces, and the performing arts world has been hit hard. Under these circumstances young creators have shown various reactions such as continuing with their work, stopping or quitting. In this talk young people discuss the question of how they will engage in the performing arts going forward. Together with Tokyo Festival Planning Team members they consider approaches to the performing arts and diverse ways of continuing them, in language based on their individual feelings and experiences.
