TMT planned to invite him and his theatre company ITA with his masterpiece “Roman Tragedies” this autumn, but could not realize it. Instead, there is wonderful gift from the company. The triple of films of their repertory. “Opening Night”, stage version of a John Cassavetes’s film, with van Hove’s characteristic style of immersive theatre with live video shooting. “Taming of the Shrew”, a Bard’s controversial play portraying power game between a man and a woman, which van Hove reflects totally contemporary context of sex, violence and love. “The Human Voice” based on Jean Cocteau’s play, which portrays a woman who is on the phone, struggling to get her lover’s heart back to her in vain, which van Hove displays so beautiful so passionate, so lonely.You cannot miss this chance of enjoying van Hove’s masterpieces all at once!
