Encountering the world through “Mahabharata – Nalacharitam”

This work premiered in 2003 and has since been staged all over the world. In 2014 it was performed by invitation as part of the official Festival d’Avignon program at the quarry theatre, The Carrière de Boulbon, which was first used by Peter Brook for the staging of his production of “Mahabharata.” This spectacular and innovative production with its beautiful design reminiscent of a picture scroll has garnered attention and acclaim. A special production of this legendary work will be staged for the festival.
