Stronger connection through theatre-based fun, born from daily life

Daily Life Plays is a project centering on a collection of short plays based on the lives of people in Toshima City. Using these plays, everyone from adults to children can enjoy envisioning, discovering, or actually staging theatre on a small scale as part of their daily lives. Following the success of last year’s project, in addition to distributing the collection, this year we will be organizing “clubs” around the city where participants can read the plays, talk, or use the collection for different forms of recreation. Rediscover neighborhood life through this opportunity for get-togethers, where theatrical experiences and the life stories of individuals intersect.
