The cover will feature Shuji Onodera, the director of the Outdoor Theatre Production “Wuthering Heights”, which starts Monday, October 17, as well as actor Hairi Katagiri, who appears in the production. This program highlight is being staged at GLOBAL RING THEATRE (Ikebukuro Nishi-guchi Park Outdoor Theatre), close to Ikebukuro station, where the two share a friendly conversation.
Here is where an “extraordinary spectacle appearing in everyday life” is set to unfold!

The first feature in the booklet is on the Outdoor Theatre Performance “Wuthering Heights,” directed by Onodera and starring Katagiri, who also appear on the cover.

The Outdoor Performance program, which began in 2018, simultaneously creates opportunities for people who have never been the theatre to have contact with stage performance for the first time and livens up the neighborhood. As well as introducing noteworthy points of this production, which is a bold reconstruction of the literary classic “Wuthering Heights,” dubbed one of the world’s three greatest tragedies, the feature includes Onodera and Katagiri discussing the appeal of outdoor theatre and the novel “Wuthering Heights.”

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy full-fledged theatre at the “one coin” admission price of 500/100yen. Why not make your debut as a theatregoer?
