The epitome of “refinement”

The epitome of “refinement,” this is a Noh production featuring performances by leading artists in the world of Noh. In this regular series we pursue the pleasures of Noh which can only be experienced in a theatre environment. To mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of Toshima city and the 35th Toshima Noh Performance, we are staging the Noh masterpiece “Dojoji” and other works.
With few previous performances of "Dojoji" in theatres other than dedicated Noh theatres, for this year’s anniversary occasion we offer the ultimate Noh program in a suitably lavish production.
