Family, but sometimes classmates. A hands-on multi-generational experience for laughing and learning together
The artist YORIKO held the Oyako-School in 2016 and 2017 in Takamatsu, Kagawa prefecture; and in 2019 as part of the Theatre Arts Division/Art Culture Magical Academy in the framework of “Culture City of East Asia 2019 Toshima.” Having drawn a large and enthusiastic response from the public, a souped-up Oyako-School is coming back to Tokyo Festival this year as “Art Culture Magical Academy Family Art Club.” Family members will participate as teammates in limited-time club activities.
With Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Atelier transformed into a classroom, artists from various fields will act as teachers in this awesome participatory event.
